Our History In 1950, in the small town of Chiquian, located to the north of Lima in Ancash, Peru near the Cordillera Huayhuash
The Lara family opened their colonial home to travelers in order to provide lodging, information, and help in the organization of excursions to the tourists who arrived as hikers, mountaineers and climbers to visit the Cordillera Huayhuash.In the 1990’s the Lara family renovated their home and turned it into a colonial hotel, called “HOTEL LOS NOGALES”. This hotel appears and is recommended in tourist guides such as: Lonely Planet, Let’s go, and Footprints.
In 2004 the Lara family established ANDES TOP PERU, a tour company created to provide complete and safe services in the organization of excursions, trekking, and climbing in the Cordillera Huayhuash.
